Day 01: Arrive at Zhongdain

Day 02: Zhongdain-Deqin-Feilaisi
Early morning drive from Zhongdian to Deqin, takes about 5 to 6 hours, along the way with beautiful landscapes. In the afternoon, see the holy mountain (TibKawa Kharpo)(Meili)(6740m) from the view platform. explore the small town and enjoy the view of Mt Kawa Kharpo

Day 03: Feilaisi-Markham
Morning drive to Markham. Go on northwards along the Lang cang jiang river valley, the upper reaches of Mekong River. Pass the border between Tibet and Yunnan at Yanjing, arrive at Markham after another 111km, and meet with the Sichuan-Tibet Southern route. Evening walks around the Markham town and it’s one of the main towns in Markham area.

Day 04: Markham-Dzogong
Cross Lancang river, pass over the highest pass- Dongda which is 5008m.

Day 05: Dzogong-Pasho
Drive from Dzogong to Pasho via pomba pasture, the landscapes are vast and sparsely inhabited but it is hard to survive its hard climate.

Day 06: Pasho-Pomi
Today drive from Pashu to Pomi, en route visit Ranwu lake, which is surrounded by glaciers and snow mountains. Thawed snow makes the body, the water appears different colors in different seasons, from aquamarine to turquoise. After Rawu town, go ahead to Pomi, you will enter the most beautiful part of this tour, the landscapes along the road vary from snow mountains, glaciers to lakes and pasture.

Day 07: Pomi-Lulang-Bayi
Drive from Pomi to Bayi via Pailong & Lulang, pass by the gorgeous alpine valleys lined with rhododendron bushes, cross over the Serkhym-la where you will have a chance to view the grand peak of Mt.Namche Barwa(7756m) after that you can visit the Bayi Cypresses park.

Day 08: Bayi-Draksum lake-Lhasa
Morning along the beautiful Niyang River drive to Draksumtso(Basumtso). The lake and its surrounding views are beautiful and the site is also connected to the semi-mythical ruler of the Kham region and Guru Rinpoche. The joint board floating bridge is the only way to the Tsodzong island and visit the Tsodzong Monastery amid the trees, most probably the highest attraction of this site. Then keep driving along the Niyang River, cross over Min-la pass(5100m) to Lhasa.

Day 09: Lhasa-Jokhang temple-Barkhore square-explore the old city site.
Morning visits the Jokhang temple is the most sacred temple in Tibet. In the Tibetan language, it refers to Buddha’s house. The most important statue is said to be made by Buddha Sakyamuni himself time. It was built in the 7th-century 32nd king Songtsen Gampo. The Jokhang temple is the convergence of Tibet’s spiritual and secular life. Here you can meet all kinds of tribes from the Tibetan plateau. The surrounding market is called Bakhore. One of the most important religious paths. Evening explores city by yourself.

Day 10: Lhasa-Ramoche temple-Sera monastery
Morning visits to the Ramoche temple, It’s the sister temple to the Jokhang, which is completed about the same time. Tradition says that it was built originally to house the much revered Jowo Rinpoche statue, carried to Lhasa via Lhagang in a wooden cart, brought to Tibet when Princess Wencheng came to Lhasa.
Afternoon visits the Sera monastery. All the Gelugpa monasteries history is strongly connected to Master Lama Tsongkhapa (1357–1419), the founder of the Gelugpa order, the much venerated and highly learned guru in Buddhist scriptures. The Sera Monastery at the foot of Sera Uste Hill is located 2 kilometers north of Lhasa. It is one of the great three Gelukpa university monasteries of Tibet.

Day 11: Lhasa-Potala palace- Norbulingka summer palace
Morning visits the Potala palace towers above the city of Lhasa as the national landmark that allures international visitors. The massive 13-storeyed building used to be the former abode for the Dalai lamas. It looks incredibly magnificent from a distance and can be viewed from various places around town. As the nation’s supreme relic, the palace dates back to the seventh century A.D.
Afternoon visits the Norbulingka summer palace, the former summer palace of Dalai Lamas built-in during the 18th century by seven Dalai lamas. Explore the beautiful gardens and experience one of the holiest sites in Tibetan Buddhism while soaking up the rich history.
