Day 01: Arrive at Lhasa

Day 02: Lhasa -Jokhang temple -Barkhore square
Morning visit the Jokhang temple
It was founded during the reign of king Songtsen Gampo in 642. According to tradition, the temple was built for the two brides of the king, Princess Wencheng of the Chinese Tang dynasty and Princess Bhrikuti of Nepal. Both wives are said to have brought important Buddhist statues and images from China and Nepal to Tibet as part of their dowries, and they were housed here. Many Nepalese artists worked to construct this temple
After finished visit the Jokhang temple walk around the Jokhang temple khora and take picture with Barkhore area . You can see many pilgrimage all around Tibetan area and most of the them they doing prostrations thousand time every day in front of Jokhang temple
Afternoon explore Tibet old city area and you can see some of the small temple. Usually for the small temple no need to pay entrance fee and also you can explore the Tibetan Old Market from there you can see lots of different things like yak cheese, yak butter and Yak meat and also many Khampa(Eastern people) businessman are exchange precious stone .( Overnight in Lhasa)
Day 03: Lhasa -Potala palace-Norbulingka summer palace
Morning visit the Potala palace towers above the city of Lhasa as the national landmark that allures the international visitors. The massive 13-storeyed building used to be the former abode for the Dalai lamas. It looks incredibly magnificent from a distance and could be viewed from various places around town. As the nation’s supreme relic, the palace dates back to the seventh century A.D.
Afternoon visit the Norbulingka summer palace the former summer palace of Dalai Lamas built in during the 18th century by seven Dalai lama. Explore the beautiful gardens and experience one of the most holy sites in Tibetan Buddhism while soaking up the rich history
Day 04: Lhasa -Drepung monastery-Sera monastery
Drepung monastery was founded in 1416 by a charismatic monk and disciple of Tsongkhapa called Jamyang Choji. Within just a year of the completion the monastery had attracted a population of some 2000 monks. In 1530 the second Dalai lama established the Gaden Palace, the palace that was home to the Dalai lamas until the fifth built the Potala palace. It was from here that the early Dalai lamas exercised their political as well as religious control over central Tibet, and the second, third and fourth Dalai lamas are entombed here.
Afternoon visit the Sera monastery: All the Gelugpa monasteries history is strongly connected to Master Lama Tsongkhapa (1357–1419), the founder of the Gelugpa order, the much venerated and highly learned guru in Buddhist scriptures. The Sera Monastery at the foot of Sera Uste Hill is located 2 kilometres northern of Lhasa. It is one of the “great three” Gelukpa university monasteries of Tibet
Day 05: Lhasa-Yamdrok lake-Karola glacier-Gyangste
Following Friendship Highway, you drive past Khamba La at 4794 m with a brief halt to savor the majestic views of Yamdrok-tso Lake and Mt Najoin Khang sar rising at an elevation of 7252m. On turning westwards, you come across Karo La pass at 5045m. You can see huge glaciers tumbling down into the road. After hours of driving for 261 km, magnificently landscaped Tibetan villages become visible as you enter the town of Gyantse After Karola glacier you will reach to Gyangtse former main Tibet trade center between Nepal, Indian and Bhutan. and 1904 English Young Husband who first come to Tibet on 1904 and usually Gyantse is famouse in wool and also very good farming area in Tibet
Day 06: Gyangtse -Shigatse
Morning vist Kumbum stupa and Phelchoe monastery Gyantse’s pride is the Gyantse Dzong and Kumbum. Gyantse Dzong is a historical fort built in the 14th century and overlooks a mesmerizing view of entire Gyantse and surrounding Nyang Chu Valley. Kumbum has a large gold-domed stupa and houses several chapels and Tibetan Buddhist murals. After you enjoy exploring Gyantse, you will take a 90 km drive to Shigatse. Having driven to an altitude of 3900 meter, you find yourself at Shigatse, second largest city of Tibet.
Day 07: Shigatse-New Tingri

In the morning, ride to new Tingri. After Tsola pass (4560m) Stop lunch and at Lhatse you will have the first views of mighty Himalayans from the pass of Gyatso la(5400m) after Lhatse and distant view of Mt. Everest from its viewing point soon after climb down Gyatso la, shortly after the border check point at Shegar,(overnight in Bebar(New Tingri)
Day 08: New Tingri-Everest Base Camp

shortly ride after the main border check point at Shegar, turn off the Friendship Highway and drive toward south in the valley, cross over the Gawu la pass[5250m] through zigzags road, from the pass you will amaze the spectacular Himalayan Ranges and its mighty peaks beyond 8000m, Mt.Makalu(8463m), Mt.Lotse(8516m), Mt.Everest(8844m), Mt.Cho Oyu(8201m) and Mt.Shishapama(8020m) from Left to right, climbing down through numbers of switchback bends lead to the dry valley of Tashi Zom and then finally the day’s destination – Everest Base Camp located in the Rongbuk valley. Rongbuk is the highest monastery in the world and it consist both monks and nuns. We suggest you to bring your own sleeping bags for the night if available as the local tent guesthouses reuse the blankets for several weeks due to their poor facility. Overnight at local tent guesthouses except from end of Oct – Mar where the tent guesthouses close and only Rongbuk monastery guesthouse is available.
Day 09: Everest Base Camp- Old Tingri -Kyirong border
Morning ride to Kyirong border, we will ride south to Nepal and traverse the Thong La Pass (5,150m). Then we will drive alongside the Peiku Tso lake, where we get a great view of Mt Shishapangma (8,027m), the only mountain over 8,000 meters that is wholly in Tibet. As we gradually descend into the Kyirong Valley, through a series of switchback bends, the dry climate changes into a warm, moist environment and it is clear that we are drawing into the area of the Indian subcontinent. (overnight in Lower Kyirong)
Day 10: Kyirong border -Kathmandu
Today we ride down to the Friendship Bridge and our guide will help you to clear the Chinese Customs. From there, our Tibetan staff are not allowed any further, and it is time to say your farewells.
Once you have crossed the bridge into Nepal, your Nepal Entry Visa can be obtained on arrival by paying US$25 for a 15-day tourist visa. You can easily find jeeps and buses from the Nepalese border town to Kathmandu City. It is 149km from the border to Kathmandu, and you will pass through the stunning Langtang National Park.
